24MM Flatslide Carb Kit

The Mikuni "TM" series of flat slide carburetor provides significant improvement over older round slide carbs, with air flowing faster and smoother through the TM venturi due to the flat slide configuration and the jet blocks which help create a smooth bore effect.

The extemely high velocity of the air flow means a much stronger vacuum at the needle jet, which provides more precise metering and better throttle response.

Our carburetor specialist technicians have tested and pre-jetted this carburetor application for your YSR enjoyment.

24MM Carb Kit

The Kit contains a 24mm Flat Slide Mikuni Carb, Intake Manifold, gaskets, K & N Air Filter, Air Filter Oil, special throttle cable and 1/4 turn throttle.

To use this kit the oil injector MUST be eliminated! (We also carry an oil pump block off plate part #60-6140)

Eliminating the pump obligates you to use pre-mixed fuel. This may or may not be something you want to do if street riding, although it is not as big a hassle as it sounds.

The benefits of making this modification are: increased mid-range power and increased top end power. The flat slide carb is very efficient & carburates very crisp and clean.

Stage I
Intended for YSRs with a stock engine using the stock airbox, air filter and stock pipe.
Stage 1 kits are designed to improve throttle response and driveability and in most cases
power increases of approximately 5% throughout the entire power range can be
achieved.
Stage II
Intended for YSRs with a mildly tuned engine using a well designed aftermarket
pipe with a modified airbox and a stock replacement air filter. Stage 2 kits
are designed for applications where individual filters cannot be installed
and for applications where airbox modification improves the engine's
performance. In most cases power increases of approximately 10% can be
achieved.

Air Box Mods

FILTERED AIR VENTS
Uni's "Foam Filter Air Vents" increase the pre-filtered air supply to
the airbox. The foam filter element may be cleaned and re-oiled.

12 air box mods for the stock air box. comes with a diagram for placement. Increases air flow dramatically. When used with the Jet kit and our pipe speed increases to 63mph!
