Can-Am Challenge 1997

The 1997 Can-Am Challenge was held again this year at the Pangborn Raceway in Wenatchee Washington, arguably the finest YSR track in the United States. Many thanks go to Monica Dommel, and Grant Grinell for a great 3 days of racing and fun. This is the only race of the year where the racing and partying is at a PRO-Level! The Woodstock of YSR Racing truly lived up to it's nick name during this year's three day event.(Really don't know what is more enjoyable, the racing or the partying!) Riders came from as far away as New Jersey, Delaware, Canada, Oklahoma etc. A good time was had by all, and all said they would be back next year! Can't wait! A special thanks to Dave Murray for doing the announcing chores, (and he raced too!) and Pete and Elaine for providing a fabulous track.

Due to numerous requests, we have provided several pages of pix, both of racing and partying. Please check the bottom of the page for links to pix! The linked pix are fairly large files, so may be slow to load. Have patience! Our apologies for some of the pix quality, some of the unscheduled events were only caught on video in the dead of night...the quality sucks....but....is worth it!
