1999 Wenatchee
Can-Am Challenge
July 30, 31 & Aug 1st
Wenatchee Track!
A modest example of the tastless '96 T-shirt!
This is arguably the finest YSR Racetrack in North America. It is fast, yet requires your constant attention! Wenatchee is the site of the annual CAN-AM Challenge, a little friendly competition with our Canadian neighbors. It is a 3 day event, with practice all day Friday, Sprint Races on Saturday, and the Can-Am Challenge Endurance on Sunday.
Camping is available at the track, the Columbia River is available for recreation, the Pangborn Airport is available for flying in, the Canadians are available for entertainment, the Americans are available for harassing the Canadians, and a good time is had by all! The Saturday Night Awards/barbeque/party is not to be missed. The only requirement for participation is a sense of humor!

The Wenatchee course has quite a few elevation changes, good run off area and is fairly wide. Passing is available although optional! There are Apple Orchards available if you go off course and are hungry. Suggested gearing for YSR 50's is 12 x 46T.
Looooonnnnng Straight!
Turn 5, 90 degree left, slightly off camber, wide open 5th gear!
Wenatchee has all classes available, Stock, Supersport, Superbike, and 80GP. They also run a Novice race for first time riders.
