| This is the Race Track the Northern CA mini racers call home. The State of California runs the entire facility as a state vehicle recreation area. There are two dirt tracks, and the Hangtown motocross track located here, besides the great mini road racing facility. |
| The course can be set up in nine different configurations, and clockwise or counter clockwise. When it is run in the "Perimeter" mode, it is approximately .7 mile in length. The ability to vary the set up makes for an exciting and different challenge every race day. The front straight is approximately 780' long. The corkscrew in the back section is a major elevation change, while the horse shoe off the front straight has a slight bank. There is even a tight down hill chicane! |
| Suggested gearing for YSRs is 12X46, while YZs and RMs (in YSR frames) would be 16X42. During the summer months it is wise to bring lots of Gatorade, water, a canopy for shade etc., as the temperature reaches the century mark quite often. |
